Privacy
Cofoun is built for verified Manhattan founders. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have. The short version: we collect what we need to build the network, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account at any time from Settings.
What we collect
- Your profile — full name, role, company, neighborhood, bio, optional links — submitted during onboarding.
- Your activity — posts, messages, intro requests, RSVPs, follows.
- Authentication data from your sign-in provider (LinkedIn, Google, email magic link). We never see your password.
- Standard product analytics (page views, feature usage). No ad tracking. No cross-site cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to operate Cofoun: showing you relevant founders on the map, recommending events, drafting AI co-pilot responses grounded in your profile, and routing intro requests. Verified founder data may appear to other verified members on your map and feed; everything else is private to you.
Sharing
We don't sell or trade personal data. We share data only with the service providers Cofoun runs on (Supabase for storage, Anthropic for AI, Mapbox for maps, Vercel for hosting), each covered by a standard data processing agreement.
Your controls
- Edit your profile any time in Settings → Profile.
- Toggle visibility, AI access, and email preferences in Settings → Privacy and Settings → AI preferences.
- Delete your account from Settings → Account → Danger zone. We remove your data within 30 days.
- Email privacy@cofoun.co for any data-rights request.
